This trailer camera is designed to be mounted on the back of your trailer to enable Transparent Trailer View. It also can be mounted in numerous other locations to meet your viewing needs. Allows for mounting inside or behind vehicle trailer.
This camera must be mounted in a specific zone on the back of your trailer to enable Transparent Trailer View. The ideal position to mount the lens is horizontally centered on the back of your trailer, 4 inches higher than the rear truck tailgate camera. See your dealer for further details regarding installation.
How many accessory trailering cameras can I install? Most vehicles equipped with Trailer Camera Provisions include two connectors that enable the installation of two accessory trailering cameras. These cameras can be placed on the interior and exterior of your trailer.
